Size & Fit Guide
Compare like with like: use the exact style’s measurements and a similar item you already own.
Before you measure
Body measurements go around you. Garment measurements describe the item, often laid flat. Use a body-size chart with body measurements and a garment chart with garment measurements.
Take measurements without stretching the fabric. Check each chart’s measuring points and whether an elastic waist is relaxed or stretched. Use centimetres or inches consistently: 1 inch = 2.54 cm.
Use the product-specific chart when one is available. Where measurements have not yet been verified, the product page says so. There is no universal RKsignature size conversion chart.
Tops & layers
Lay a similar garment flat, fasten closures and smooth it without stretching. Compare the same measuring points for the exact style.
- Chest width
- Measure straight across below the armholes. This is a flat width, not your body chest circumference.
- Body length
- Measure from the highest shoulder point beside the neck to the hem.
- Shoulder & sleeve
- Measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam, then sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff. Raglan sleeves use a different starting point.
Trousers, joggers & shorts
Fasten a pair you like, lay it flat and smooth it without pulling the waistband. Record elastic waist measurements relaxed.
- Waist width
- Measure across the waistband. A flat waist width and a waist circumference are different measurements.
- Hip width
- Measure across the widest part of the seat, matching the chart’s measuring point.
- Rise & inseam
- Measure front rise from crotch seam to waistband; measure inseam along the inner leg from crotch seam to hem.
Leggings
Compare a pair with similar stretch and fit. Take flat measurements with the fabric relaxed; these differ from body measurements.
- Body waist & hips
- Keep the tape level around your waist and fullest hips, snug without pulling tight. Use these only with a body-size chart.
- Garment waist & rise
- Lay leggings flat without stretching. Measure waistband width and front rise from crotch seam to waistband.
- Inseam
- Measure along the inside leg from crotch seam to hem. Check the exact style length.
Skirts
Fasten a similar skirt and lay it flat without stretching the waist or fabric.
- Waist width
- Measure straight across the waistband with elastic relaxed.
- Hip width
- Measure across the widest part, matching the chart’s measuring point.
- Length
- Measure from the top of the waistband to the hem. Check front and back for an uneven hem.
Caps
One Size is a label; use the actual adjustment range to check fit.
- Head circumference
- Wrap a flexible tape around your head just above eyebrows and ears, level and comfortably snug.
- Adjustment range
- Compare your head measurement with the confirmed minimum and maximum circumference.
Beanies
Knitted headwear stretches. Relaxed flat width is not the head circumference it will fit.
- Head circumference
- Measure around your head above eyebrows and ears, keeping the tape level.
- Beanie dimensions
- Compare relaxed width and height with a beanie you like. Confirm whether height includes a folded cuff.
Bags & pouches
Check usable compartment dimensions as well as exterior dimensions when choosing a bag for a laptop or other belongings.
- Width, height & depth
- Measure a similar bag closed from its outside edges. Exterior dimensions do not establish what fits inside.
- Strap & handle
- Compare the adjustable strap range or handle drop with a bag that sits comfortably on you.
- Compartment fit
- Measure the item you intend to carry, including its case. Check the opening and usable internal dimensions.
Socks
Check the product’s stated foot-length or shoe-size range. One Size does not establish sock fit.
- Foot length
- Standing on paper, mark heel and longest toe. Measure between them; check both feet and use the longer measurement.
- Size system
- Use the stated UK, US or EU range for the exact product. These labels are not interchangeable.
Shaker bottles
Choose by confirmed capacity and dimensions rather than clothing size.
- Capacity
- Check whether the listed capacity is total volume or usable fill level.
- Height & diameter
- Compare assembled dimensions with your storage space. Check the widest point for a cup holder.
Fit, photos & choosing a size
The same size label can fit differently between styles. Compare the garment shape, measuring points and fabric stretch. Campaign images show styling; model proportions alone cannot establish your size.
