Questions to ask about clothing and responsibility

Responsibility claims should identify the garment and the evidence behind them. A certification on one style does not establish that every item in a collection has the same certification.

Check the sewn-in composition label and ask for sourcing or certification records where a claim matters to your purchase. A fibre name alone does not prove a lower environmental impact.

Care, repair and repeated use are practical considerations. Follow the exact garment’s care label; do not assume that a general routine suits every fibre, finish or metal detail.

RKsignature’s responsibility page explains our current position. Being based in British Columbia describes the business location, rather than where every product is manufactured. Ask us for product-specific information if it is not published.
